Tempeh Tacos



  • Tempeh , 1 pack

  • 1/2 onion

  • 1 tomato

  • 1 fresh jalapeño pepper

  • Black beans (canned is okay, just rinse and drain)

  • Cilantro

  • 2 avocados

  • 10-12 corn tortillas

  • Salt, pepper and cumin

  • Your fav taco seasoning blend

  • Your fav salsa

 You will need: 1 large pan


Dice your onion, tomato and jalapeño.

Add a small amount of canola oil to a large pan and add your onions, tomato and jalapeno. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the onions become translucent.

While your vegetables are cooking, open the tempeh package and begin to crumble it into small pieces. Begin to add tempeh into the pan and add seasonings. Cook tempeh and vegetables together for about 10 more minutes.

While tempeh is cooking, prepare the cilantro, avocado slices, warm up the corn tortillas and open the black beans.

When tempeh is ready, grab a tortilla and begin filling it with all of the ingredients! Don't forget the salsa!
