Pesto Pea Pasta

Ingredients:
16 oz of your favorite pasta
1 cup peas
Pesto pea sauce:
4 cups fresh basil
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup walnuts
1 small lemon, juice
1/8 cup pepita seeds
3/4 cup peas
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup plain coconut yogurt
1/4 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
You will need: blender, large pot, drainer
Instructions:
Fill pot about halfway with water and put on high heat until it begins to boil. Add pasta and turn down to a simmer. Cook for about 9-12 minutes depending on instructions on box.
While pasta is cooking add all the other ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Drain pasta. Add pesto sauce to pot on low heat. Add pasta to sauce and mix well until evenly coated with sauce. I like to add about 1 cup whole peas after for more protein/texture
