Heat the olive oil in a large pot then add onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes and then add garlic and jalapeno and sauté for about another 2 minutes. Add tomato paste to pot and mix with vegetables. Add tomatoes, broth, beans and seasonings. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes. Top with tortilla chip crumbles and avocado and enjoy!
