I live north of San Francisco on the beautiful Sonoma County coast with my husband Anthony and Yorkie (Rocky).

I love to travel, hike, eat and create recipes!

My passion for science and health is what lead me to my career in dietetics. I was leaning towards medical school because that seemed to include both of my passions. Senior year of high school I learned about the preventative side of healthcare and nutrition. I realized that my passion was to help prevent and control diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and hypertension without medication.

Nutrition became fascinating to me so I decided to pursue a Clinical Nutrition degree at the best university for this field; UC Davis. Nutrition is not solely about eating “healthy”, it is about knowing how to nourish your body and learning about your specific nutritional needs.

I specialize in vegan Mexican recipes because my parents are from Mexico and culture is very important to me. Also, who doesn’t love vegan Mexican food?
